As the finest hides are minimally processed, some parts may have pigmentation, wide pores, scratches, and wrinkles. These are natural occurrences from activities or healing and regenerating tissues. While we try to minimize visibility, density and sturdiness vary across sections, sometimes making them noticeable.

Subdermal Scars
Natural scars from activities, healing, and regenerating tissues are typical of natural leather.
Texture and Color Variations
Texture differs across sections even on the same cow. This is a natural characteristic of leather.
Fine Surface Scratches
Minimal processing of hides may result in minor scratch marks.
Leather Wrinkles
Wrinkles from the cow's skin may be visible on the leather surface.
Black Spots
Black spots may occur during the two-tone dyeing process of semi-aniline processing. This is a natural occurrence, not a defect.
Natural Marks
Discoloration due to various factors like wounds, melanocyte proliferation, nevus cell proliferation, etc. Dots, pores, insect bites, and scars may also be present.
Cushion Connection
Alter Cushion has a zipper on the lower side to connect cushions. Connection is optional, and due to the cushion's volume, they don't bend 90 degrees completely. Applying strong force may damage the zipper, so avoid lifting or moving the cushion when connected. Zipper damage will be repaired at a cost without a warranty period.
Non-Slip Fabric
The bottom of the Alter Cushion features non-slip fabric to prevent movement. This functionality may weaken with prolonged use. Although designed to stay in place, certain postures may cause the cushion to tip over.
Assembly Structure Exposure
Screws for finishing are visible at the bottom of the Alter Cushion. These are structural components and removing or adjusting them will result in paid A/S without a warranty period. Assembly/disassembly is not recommended.
